It’s another beautiful day in California! And it's a good time to visit the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. It’s long overdue, I can’t even remember the last time I was here. This Spanish Mission was founded on All Saints’ Day in 1776. And is best known for the annual “return of the swallows” which takes place around the third week of March. Tchaikovsky Spectacular Concert in Irvine
We went to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater yesterday to watch the Pacific Symphony's last summer festival performance of the year. It was a beautiful day! Anniversary Celebration in Berkeley, CA
Last weekend, we celebrated our anniversary in Berkeley, CA. We stayed at the Claremont Hotel Club & Spa. On our first day at the hotel, we had lunch at the hotel's Paragon Restaurant & Bar and enjoyed the view of the Bay Area. We went hiking in the desert resort city of Palm Springs, today. It is approximately 85 miles east of Orange County and about an hour and a half drive from our place.
