Delos Tour – Day 3 in Mykonos
We had a guided tour of Delos on our third day in Mykonos. We took a short 30-minute ferry ride from Mykonos to get to this island. Delos is the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, according to Greek mythology. One of the most remarkable facts about Delos is that it was once home to 30,000 residents, before the birth of Christ. Mykonos – Day 2
Our hotel had a great selection of breakfast food. Joe and I enjoyed Greek yogurt mixed with honey, corn flakes, and peaches. We spent most of our second day on this island exploring the town of Hora. Day 1 in Mykonos
Day 1 in Mykonos was all about rest and relaxation. Our hotel was in a good location and near the beach. We found a nice restaurant nearby and Joe was brave enough to try the grilled fish. He is very picky when it comes to fish, he won't touch anything that has a hint of a fishy smell. Our Adventure in Athens
We arrived in Athens on May 4th and planned to see the Acropolis on our first day. Unfortunately, it was closed that day. Due to the country's economic crisis, the Acropolis was stormed by the Greek protesters. We had to settle with a few zoomed photos and stayed a safe distance from the protesters.
