Here are photos of our last day in Bora Bora. We were a little sad to leave but also looked forward to going home. This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip, but we have decided to come back again, someday. Sounds familiar ;) Tamure Grill - our breakfast and lunch hang-out A beautiful sunset at the end our vacation. Mauruuru Bora Bora and Mo'orea for the wonderful moments. Until next time... ... The Romantic Island of Bora Bora – Day 5
Our last full day in Bora Bora - we spent most of this beautiful day out in the sun. In the afternoon, we took a boat shuttle to Vaitape. We spent a couple of hours in the island's stores, shops, and restaurant, and then bought some souvenirs and tropical fruits. By the time we got back to the hotel, the sun had set and it was almost time to say goodbye to paradise. And like all good things ... our 11 - day vacation in French Polynesia must soon come ... Day 4 in Bora Bora
The sun was out and the skies were a beautiful shade of blue! Oh, to marvel at the turquoise and emerald clear lagoon, white sand beach, lush valleys, and tropical fish on a sunny day - such an awesome experience! It was a beautiful day! We enjoyed the vibrant colors and panoramic views of this romantic island. We ended the day with another great dinner at the hotel's Iriatai restaurant. Have an awesome day! ... View the Post
Bora Bora – Day 3
As with the last 2 days, we started our day with breakfast at the Hilton's Tamure Grill restaurant -- overlooking the emerald colored waters. The breakfast buffet and selection wasn't as good as the one in Hilton Mo'orea but it's all good. Our vacation package included breakfast and dinner which made it very convenient - otherwise we would have to take a round-trip boat shuttle from the hotel to the main dock - Viatape in Bora Bora everyday. After breakfast, we strolled around and saw a ... View the Post
A Rainy 2nd Day in Bora Bora
It rained on and off on our second day in Bora Bora. It was also a very humid day. We lounged on our personal deck and then the infinity pool, strolled around the resort, and did a few water activities. Despite the weather, we had a great day in paradise. The beautiful white sand beach and blue lagoon, lush vegetation, well-kept grounds, and our overwater villa more than made up for the not so perfect weather :) Have a ... View the Post
Bora Bora – Day 1
It was pouring rain when we left Mo'orea for the airport. Our flight to Bora Bora was not cancelled, however we landed in Huahine airport to wait for better weather. Two hours later, we boarded our plane. Once we claimed our luggage and left customs in Bora Bora airport, we took the boat shuttle to take us to our destination. A lot of transfers but worth it! We made it to the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort safely. While waiting in Huahine Airport, I developed an allergic reaction to an ... View the Post
