Our second and last day in Venice was filled with fun activities. Just a little warning, this is a post with plenty of photos. I hope it would give you a feel of this beautiful city. We were at St. Mark's Square by 0830 and had more than an hour before St. Mark's Basilica opened. We took this opportunity to take a few photos and enjoy the view while the place was deserted. It was great to have the place almost to ourselves! We were one of the first in line to go inside ... View the Post
Our First Day in Venice
Over two months ago, we celebrated our anniversary in Italy, one of our fave European country. The cities we visited on this trip are Venice, Florence, Rome, and Sorrento. I spent a lot of time planning this trip and it paid off. We had an awesome time! It was an almost stress-free vacation. We barely made it to our flight back home (from Paris to LAX) because CDG airport was a little disorganized that day. We made it in one piece though, so we are very grateful :) Today, I'm sharing ... The Eiffel Tower of Paris
No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to and a few photos of the Eiffel Tower. This iconic structure was originally intended as a temporary exhibit until its value as a radiotelegraph station was recognized. I can't picture Paris without the Eiffel Tower! So glad plans for its demolition were never carried out! Passez une bonne journée! Have a great day! ♥ Emms ... View the Post
Versailles Palace and Gardens

Joe and I enjoyed our visit, especially the gardens, and were already thinking of coming back the next time ... View the Post
Arc de Triomphe
We made sure we had time to climb the Arc de Triomphe before the end of our trip. It helped that our hotel is only a few steps from the Arc ;) This famous monument had some pretty awesome views of Paris from the top! Have an amazing day! ♥ Emms ... View the Post
Musee’ du Orsay
We planned to visit the Musee' du Orsay after our Impressionist Art Walking Tour but had so much fun in Monmartre we ran out of time. This museum was a 'must see' for our Paris trip. We had a busy schedule but managed to visit later that week. So glad we did! The Musee' du Orsay, boasts "the world's largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist art!" Indeed, we were very impressed ;) by the large number of famous and important Impressionist art we saw and admired. No photos ... View the Post
