It was another rainy day in the north shore yesterday, but it did not stop us from visiting the nearby town of Hanalei. Hanalei is just west of Princeville and is located in northern Kauai. It rained hard on our first full day in Princeville. I've read that if it rains on one side of Kauai just head to the opposite direction and chances are it's sunny in that part of town. So, we drove South. Along the way, in Kapa'a, I spotted a fruit stand with lots of tropical fruits on display. Hubby was brave enough to try these Rambutans and actually enjoyed them. After checking in and settling in our room, we headed to the St. Regis Bar and sat on the patio to watch and enjoy the sunset. We are on our way to spend a week in Kauai to get some much-needed R & R for my hardworking hubby.  Actually, I could use a little myself ;) At LAX, so ready to board...
