It was raining on our third day in Mo’orea. We rented a car to get to Belvedere Point – the highest point in Mo’orea. From the summit, we saw breathtaking views of Opunohu and Cook’s bays, Mount Rotui, and the valleys below. After taking in the beautiful views, we cruised the island twice in one hour. The distance between the east and west side is only 10 miles. We went to the Sofitel to have a late lunch and celebrate our anniversary. By the time we went back to the Hilton, the rain had stopped. We went for a swim and snorkeled under the blue and peach hued sky.

More poisson cru – our fave dish in Mo’orea
The rain and grey clouds could not dampen Mo’orea’s beautiful, vibrant, and colorful shades of green and blue!
