Flowers are some of my favorite things. Last week, hubby treated me to see the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, CA. What an awesome sight! About 50 acres were filled with colorful ranunculus blooms! There were other specialty flowers in the fields (like roses, daisies, and lots more that I can’t identify 😉 ) I had a great time strolling through the fields while hubby took pictures. I love this place!
We came here on a weekday at 1030 and it wasn’t too crowded. It’s an open field – so bring water, hats, sunnies, and camera, use sunblock, and wear comfy shoes.
The Flower Fields is open from March 1 – May 10. The price for admission is $12 for adults and $5 for those that want to take the wagon ride. This place is worth a visit if you have the time.
